10 Future Technology That Would Change The World !!

On 28 April 2015 and 29 April 2015 i had visited the IIDex 2015 that was held in Dewan Agong Tuanku Cancelor (DATC).

Many of the participant was from Premier Schools and Universities Students and Lecturers. They we also people from the Industry at the exhibition. To my surprise i meet few of my old colleague and University friends there. A very interesting day for me as i love to see all the new innovation invention happening right in front of your door steps. The innovation i see here may one day be a famous tools that will be use by the Mass market. Interesting.

Here are some SYSTEM that i would like to share with my readers. All the System are new and still in the prototype stage. ENJOY :)

1)   MALAY LANGUAGE POLITICAL SENTIMENT ANALYZER

SUMMARY

Malaysia is one of the highest users of the social media globally. The Malaysian online community have been expressing freely to the net on their thoughts over anything that happen around them or even around the country. The political perspectives are also shared on the media social by the members and supporters of the largest component party that is the Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Rakyat.

In the country, Malaysian prefers to express their political thought using multilingual postings over the media social platform. Every single second there will be someone that will tweet or upload a comment through the net to give his opinion over an issue that is directly effecting them or indirectly.   

This big data has never been able to be analyse because all the software on rack currently failed to capture multilingual postings. The sentiment of opinion is left unanalysed. Placing that as a major hindrance, the Malay Language Political Sentiment Analyzer came into place. The system will really benefit those who use it.

The uniqueness and strength of the system is that it can be use by both component parties. A huge market is available for the developer of the system. The system also able to analyse sarcasm comments as Malaysian when they do give out statement, there are at times, brings different meaning over it.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

1.    To identify Malay objective and political words based on positive or negative sentiment;

2.    To propose sentiment analysis and political inclination algorithm for Malay postings; and

3.    To develop an analyser that can analyse sentiment of the posting based on Malay adjective and political inclination. 

RECOMMENDATION

As we know, Malaysia is currently vulnerable from being a target for terrorism activities internal and external. By expanding the capabilities of the system to analyse, capture and intercept the codes that is being transfer over the Malaysia network could boost and help the Malaysian Intelligent to prevent the worst case scenario from happening.

2)   I-HOME FINANCING CALCULATOR

SUMMARY

Housing industry in Malaysia is one of the fastest industries progressively expanding from the urban to the rural areas. The prices of houses in prime areas have skyrocket.

Hence, many young executive could not afford to purchase a house of their own. As soon as they graduated from higher education, they are burden with debts. Once they start working, the majority will make a higher purchase loan to buy a car.

This system is developed to give an understanding to the young executive and potential home buyers on how much exactly are they eligible amount of loan that they could apply to buy a house.

Currently, they are many home loan calculators that you could easily download over the internet. What differs the others system than I-HOME FINANCING CALCULATOR is that this system practically consider all other financial commitment of the said person applying from the loan. It could capture and process the monthly income commitments and the occupational sector to indicate the maximum service ratio.

One key added value, is that the system will also list the best 10 banks that offers the lowest interest rate from home buyers.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

1.    To educate home buyers on the eligible loan amount they ca apply;

2.    To increase debt literacy among Malaysian;

3.    To reduce potential of non-performing loans (NPLs) in financial institution; and

4.    To reduce Malaysia’s household debt. 

RECOMMENDATION

Since the system is catering from the home buyer, it would be great if the system could link to property websites to suggest on the houses and projects that could be affordable to the respective home owner that is align with the eligible loan that they could apply within the vicinity area that they intended to purchase.

3)   CREDIT

SUMMARY

The World Wide Web has been growing since the day they started. It has grown to be the largest repositories of data and information. Without a proper search engine, user could not seek from information that they intent to find unless they acquire high knowledge in the binary world of Information technology.

Nevertheless, the Web do also contain information that are not correct, false and also misleading information. Users need to figure out whether the data is reliable. How do they figure out on which website would be or would have a more credible rating than the others who provide the same information that they intend to find.

With Credit, the system will give a solution to users where it will corroborate and verify all answers from multiple sources over the net and retrieve answer with the highest accuracy and reliable score. Certainly, the system would be a handy tool for users to seek the information they need. The usefulness of the system is that it would really save up time for research.

THE OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

1.    To increase accuracy of answer;

2.    To increase reliability of answer; and

3.    Give more weightage to answer taken from credible source.

RECOMMENDATION

It would be good if the system could also provide a link and titles of article and journals that could support the information required. This would really add value to the system since, they are many journal publisher and it will take up extra time to seek for it from other sources.

4)   THE E-RAMAL STOCK PRICE FORECASTER

SUMMARY

KLSE provides many platform for new investor to seek information on the share price of stock that they have and also that they intend to purchase. Many possible theories and software available on the Net that have said could help the new investors to make decision. Yet, many investors have failed to profit from the open market.

The E-Ramal is a system that could forecast the future closing prices of a stock by using geometric  Brownian motion. They are many types of investor, the short term and also the long term investor. The system main goal is to help the short term investor to analyse the potential share price of the stock market.

THE PROBLEM STATEMENT AND OBJECTIVE OF THE SYSTEM

1.    To wrong decision will lead to the loss on capital investment;

2.    More volatile refers to more risk. High risk usually give high return; and

3.    To forecast accurately the future closing prices for the short term investment..

RECOMMENDATION

The system is a guide for short term investor to make a quick profit over their investment. It would be a great advantage to the investors, if the system could provide information on extra investment opportunities that could help the investor portfolio.

The Property World

Experience with Iproperty

I started to get involved in the world of property back then in 2007. As soon as I graduated, I knew that I need to look for my own place to stay. Eager to find one, I browse through the papers, magazine and all the property information that I could my hands into. After a while, I got really tired of searching through this medium. Imagine how our parents did the research on their first home buy.

For the mass, buying a home is a lifetime commitment where many things need to be considered before paying for a down payment. So before deciding on a place call home, they will take extra effort and time to study on it.

As I go on searching for the best project for me. I stumble upon a website on google call Iproperty. It was just starting to pace up on the world wide web giving info to new home buyers on how to look for a property.

To share, I didn’t find the first house I did on the website at first, but I saw the advertisement on the billboard nearby to my parents place. The first thing I did was to google the project up and google directed me to Iproperty.

How happy was to learn more information about the projects as Iproperty was very helpful in providing me the information on it. Much info was shared among the session with the team. Iproperty have change the house searching for home buyers in the property industry.

Iproperty (the system) in the website is really friendly, as their structure it in a way that you could zoom in to choose the location, the state, type of house, the price range and all. It also provided you with the Real House picture or the artist illustration of the property.

Bear in mind, beside Iproperty, they are plenty of Website that come with their internal system that will help new home buyers to look for a property.

SMART PHONE'S ERA

MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE USING SMART PHONES

Hi all. This is me sharing my insight on the world of smart phones based on my own experiences. The Huuu Haaa of the world of smart phones basically started back then in the early 2000 with the introduction of the Blackberry, the Nokia collection of palm top and so on. At the early stages, smart phones were not used widely. Only business people in the industry started to use it. Whether they really use it for the function or just a style statement … let’s just leave it to them. J

Let’s face it, the real deal of smart phones stated with the introduction of the world first ios Iphone by Steve Jobs (the brain behind Apple).

  FIRST VERSION OF THE IPHONE

                                         

While, let’s agree that the first version of iphone lacked so many feature yet the design and screen was all that matters. We can actually open or view a full website on the iPhone. When it first reaches the shore of Malaysia, the price was really significant high. I still remember that I had to drive up to Singapore to view it as they launch it in Singapore first before entering Malaysia market.

To my surprise, I didn’t buy it after holding and playing with the camera function. Haha.. I was amazed with the camera function compared to what I was using at the moment, the Nokia E75. I kind of miss the phone.

After the introduction of the World famous Iphone, competitors stated to come into the market. That’s where the revolutionary of Android hit the World. I still think many of the consumers do not know that actually, HTC Dream was the first smart phones that run on the Android platform.

It was on the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S at Lowyat Plaza in Kuala Lumpur that catches me to buy one for myself. Actually, my wife (Puan Nur Aizah Binti Mohd Naim) bought it for me as one of the gifts for my engagement with her. She was an Iphone user back then before changing to Samsung. J

SAMSUNG GALAXY S

I was straight away attached to the phone. Everywhere I go, the Galaxy S will be with me. I still remember the day I open the box of my new phone. I was a kid again. It’s like a new toy that is waiting to be explored. Android was still new to me so I started googling on what apps to install in it. (NOT WHATSAPP- they haven launch the apps yet)

Make a guess. The social media craze, Facebook and Instagram was the first apps I downloaded from the Playstore. Then I downloaded all the camera and editing apps for the phone.

I use the phone for quite some time before changing to the HTC Desire HD that I bought in Orchard Road, Singapore because it was not launch yet in Malaysia.

THE HTC DESIRE HD

Based on my personal experience, smart phones become a must when they stated introducing WHATSAPP. Free texting apps that could be used to text to anyone in the telecommunication world. Android, Blackberry and IOS uses WHATSAPP as one of their apps.

Everyone started to text their friends on the smart phone, imagine MIRC on the phone. Where you could start a group with your friends and chat in a private channel with the. WHATSAPP was indeed a revolutionary app for the telecommunication industry. Many similar apps started to enter the Android market but failed to acquire such huge user as WHATSAPP.

The funny things, is that nowadays, if you go out with friends and chill over a cup of coffee everyone will start to take their smart phone out and start texting to their cyber friends. The smart phones have killed the traditional chilling experience.

As a conclusion: smart phones are a great companion, yet always remember, human touch and family is always important. Keep your phone during visiting (beside snapping picture) on Celebrations.

GOLFING UNDER THE ROOF

I started the game of Golf since I was a kid, around the age of 11 years old. How did I started? i was a sport addict since I was in my primary days. I played football until state level, played tennis also state level and, volleyball until my University days.

When I was in standard 5, I started to pick up hockey and cricket. To my surprise, i got selected for the school team. As I reach home and told my parents, my father was not fond of me paying the two sports as he sees it as dangerous. He asked me to focus on my football instead. That same evening, he brought me to this local sport shop in Johor Bahru and bought me a new pair of boots. I was excited and agreed to his term to play football.

Suddenly, on a fine evening, my father came back from work and told me that he has enrolled me for a junior golf program in Royal Johor Country Club now known as Johor Golf Country Club. As a kid, I was like, is this for real. I did not have any enthusiasm at that moment but I told myself. Let’s give it a try.  So the next Saturday morning my parents drove me to the gold club for the program. I was so happy that I was not alone. They are a few of my school friends that also enrol in the same program. Now, im not alone. 

And the first session started with a big breakfast among ourselves and parents. The next round was the walkabout on the course. The club pro and the other committee brought us along the clubs and explain on the rules and regulation of the game.

Honestly, the first time I stood at the tee box, I was really happy to know more about the sports. At the driving range, we were given unlimited balls to practice. I was straight away addicted  to it.

And until today, golf has always be my number one sports.

Recently, I tried indoor golf. This is where the new experience starts. We always see big star playing on the elite golf course of the world. And I have always wanted to try to have a round of gold at those clubs.

With the indoor golf by Citygolf in Bangsar Shooping Center (BSC) I have manage to fulfil my dream to have an experience playing in the international golf course. With the highlights of St. Andrew and other 50 international courses.

You can find three large Full Swing Golf Simulators installed in the premises that runs on accurate E6 software. Its 3D is really awesome. It is a whole indoor golf system that is powered by a big powerful machine behind it. The System is so intelligent that it can capture all the motion of the swing and calculate the loft and the distance of the shoot. That’s what technology can do to us. A whole new concept.

Honestly, it’s quite fun, with half the cost and a cold temperature room. What more to asked.

For a game of 18 holes, basically, u need about two hours and a half to finish the course with four players. You can also play individually actually.

And if indoor golf has hooked you up, join the membership. Its only RM2220, and u be entitle to play unlimited rounds for every day. But for me, I still wans to have the feeling to strategize my game on the real grass.

Practically we are the potential victim of the Man in the Middle Attacks. When they are in the same Local Area Network (Lan) and on a switch based network, practically, a hacker can place himself between you and the server. He could also camouflage himself as a default gateway. By then he could capture all th etraffic in between.
